Agreed. Somebody needs to pass the word onto ESP/LTD about this, particularly with their LTD 331 model where it is a 24.75" scale, 24 frets, and jumbo size. I owned one briefly and those high frets were pretty unusable because of that

I played a custom made 24 fretter which had two different fret wires. As I recall they started with the narrower size at the 15th fret.

Worst case scenario there's plenty of fire(bird)wood to keep you warm at night.

no such thing as a surplus of firebirds! i could raffle em off for charity and donate them to kids in need, sell some to pay for their lessons, then there would be a massive influx of firebirds in the hands of the next generation of guitar playing influencers and everyone would love a firebird cause the internet told em to
