Was parchment/black zebra a thing?

Hello everyone.

I just received a pickup I bought off fleabay and, while I'm 99% sure it's a real Duncan, I'm surprised at the color. In the auction pics, the light colored coil looked darker, but in person, it appears to be an almost parchment color. Was this a normal thing at some point, or is this a shop floor or special order deal?

The base plate, lettering, and wiring all feel legit, but this is the first time I've ever seen a black/parchment reverse zebra duncan in the wild. The really odd thing, to me, is that it's SH spaced. I'd expect trembucker spacing with the parchment in order to better fit strats.

It's definitely a shade or two lighter than the S Deco in normal zebra.

It's even a *little* lighter than the PG+ I have in a strat.

I have a SD 59/custom hybrid that's a penchant/black combo so they do exist.
