I have a 2005 Washburn AF-40V ACE FREHLEY Model. This is a prototype and the only prototype ever made for a proposed re-launch of this model. This guitar came direct from the personal collection of former CEO of Washburn guitars, Rudy Schlacher. I have emails from Rudy and the previous owner confirming the story and the fact that it was the only one ever made. This is even more rare than the original run of the Af-40s from 86!!!




The 2005 version has a German made Schaller Floyd as opposed to the Wonderbar system that the originals had. This one is a candy apple red and black color scheme. Basically the same features as the original AF-40Vs.




It is in near mint condition. The plastic is still on the back plates. There are no cracks, breaks or repairs. It came from Washburn without a case but it now rests in a DEAN hardcase that fits it very well!




This guitar is not just a wall hanger...its a rock machine!!! Lightweight, with a slim, fast neck. Carbon fiber frefboard, 24 frets.




The rarest of the rare in the KISS guitar world and the Ace Frehley guitar world! Documented and confirmed by the former CEO of Washburn Guitars!!!
