This was the 2000 NAMM booth guitar and was bought from the show by a dealer then stored in the back room. I bought the guitar as a NOS in January. When I got it home I found that all the control covers had melted into the finish and would not BUDGE. I wound up sending the guitar back to Washburn on a warrantee claim to get the covers off. When it came back this time the guys at Washburn did not pack it properly so the top lower point was broken in transport. Back to Washburn again for repair this time it was personally handled by the guy who did all of Dimes custom work Chewy.
I just got the guitar back after a repair and full factory re-finish and it's FLAWLESS! The finish is DEEEEP piano black with a bright silver that is much more vibrant looking than it was when I first got her.
This is a true one of a kind guitar now and it was the SECOND production Stealth ever built SN is 0007002!!
I hate thinking about selling this one but am hurting for cash and still owe money on my CC for the guitar.
I will need to clear at least $4000 after all fees and shipping on this one or I will just keep it.
This is one of the holy grails of pointy guitars a KILLER brand new true NOS WASHBURN USA Stealth.
