Washburn XM120EPROMR

Hi all,

Anyone have any opinion/feedback on this guitar? Net searches yield very little. I was offered one in a possible trade.
Any feedback is appreciated.

I guess you saw where they were blowing them out on WMS.

If you do trade make sure you account for the fact their "new" price is now much lower.

Saw that! Thanks. Just wondering if its a decent guitar. No reviews I can find anywhere. Wonder if the Desolation DC 1 is a better deal...

wow 270$ for a guitar with a 59' and sh11, that's bound to be a great deal, and washburn has been known to make some great guitars too.

Seems that opinions on this Washburn are up and down. Some think its a good deal and some say run away!
They also have Desolation ds1 for $249 with EMGs. That's just 35 bucks more than the pickups...maybe that's the better deal?

Gonna take the chance and get the XM120EPRO in metallic red. Hope it turns out to be a good one!

Got the new guitar in today. Survived shipping well. Metallic red body is nicer than expected. Needs some tlc (fret end are slightly sharp) but not bad for $249 with a '59 neck and custom/custom bridge. Gonna you this to learn to mod guitars on. Think it'll be a winner after a trip to the local shop for a good set up.
