The reverb and mid-boost are really nice. What blew me away was the amount of gain that little baby has, it is a dirty little girl. Very deceptive for a tweed amp.

The Peavey came today and I played it for 10 minutes before work and it sounds great. On 1 wat and bridge position, it breaks up on bedroom volumes. This is really gonna help my rock playing. Was playing clean forever cuz I don't like not hearing my guitar with pedals.

This is good to know. The Classic 30 has great clean breakup. But the C30 power output cannot be changed and some guitars require the volume (normal) to be up quite high.

Yep. That was through the 2x12 in my twin. Through that lil 1x8, each watage are easily dirty. I have a Mesa 1x10 closed back on the way : ) I can't wait to try it with my eq pedal and crank the lowest 2 sliders for woman tone.

The boost is not a traditional boost, it boosts your mids you might want to play with it.

Things are goin friggin good tone wise. The Peavey sounds good thru the 3 different speakers I have here. The lil 8" Jensen in the Vox breaks up at bedroom levels on any pup selection. The 10" Mesa is more smooth, bassy, and punchy with the closed back and has more headroom but breaks up a little louder. Could be good for a jam. I connected only 1 12" speaker in the twin reverb and it's pretty loud but gets the most beautiful vintage tones.
