watery sound is from a "phaser" right?

i have always thought that watery sounds is from
a "chorus" pedal. And i have heard someone here in this forum said that it could be from a "flanger" too.

but now i am pretty sure that it is only from a "phaser"
like the "mxr phase 90" pedal. am i right?

flangers & phasers both give a kind of sweeping effect, but yes phasers sound more watery

Best watery sound I know of is the EHX Small Clone chorus.

I've never really though of phase as a watery type effect....

Nirvana's clean intro to Come As You Are is an example of a chorus. I think of chorus when I think watery.

Phasers sound swirly. VH Eruption.
