Wayne Krantz

Re: Wayne Krantz

I havent heard anything like this before!

Still making my mind up on it. Not the easiest thing to listen to

Gets better towards the end of the clip though. I like the abrupt groove changes...always wanted to be able to do that

Re: Wayne Krantz

Yeah, it's not easy and I can hardly remember the songs, because it's so complex :D

But when a song is gonna be played, I like it!

www.pandora.com

have a Wayne Krantz station now..the song "Signals" is being played now..awesome.

Yeah, I discovered him again..me likes clean tone :D

Strat -> compressor..ok he has a VERY slight overdrive tone on this "signals" tune, also a bit chorus but it sounds so organic and his note choice is unique.

Larry, try the song "Signals" out!

Re: Wayne Krantz

Bill Connors is now playing..Kevlar said once my playing reminds him of Connors somehow..or the songs I did.

Cool beans but I'm not that familiar with Bill, sounds good though :)

He has a slight Holdsworth approach, which I can undrstand at least a bit! Holdsworth is an alien. I like Connor's tone. Opener, more natural than Holdsworth.

Another Krantz song off the "Signals" album..I need that cd!! And he doesn't help me on my strat gas.

some Bill Frisell live stuff..terrific! All guys are really underrated!

Re: Wayne Krantz

It's good stuff for sure..that's stuff I'd like to play..the ultra thing for me.

Pat Metheny's "Watercolors" ain't bad either, it feels like home, musically spoken, to me.

Re: Wayne Krantz

So far I've heared only super nice clean tones and one bad Gambale overdrive sound/song :fingersx: :smokin:

Pat is terrible, terribly good.

Re: Wayne Krantz

He is a friggin monster:D
I am having a trip with Holdsworth, hmm I need to find my Metheny...got it somehwere?!?
And my Wayne as well:)
And Ray Gomez:D
:D

Some Holdsworth now..Funnels (live). Damn, this music is just magic. Many Holdsworth songs remind me of good times and special places here in my hometown..and you know what? The memories I have in my mind were experienced before I even knew who Allan was/is.

Yes, I'm weird.

Re: Wayne Krantz

That's great.

Another candidate for cool clean stuff is Steve Kahn..now listening to "J.A. Granelli & Mr. Lucky" - Fortunate Son

Great music, altough I'm not familiar with the artist.

Re: Wayne Krantz

I've never listened to Wayne- thanks for introducing me to him- awesome stuff!!
