Larry is right about Ceriatone. I sometimes forget about Nik. He offers excellent value, you just have to suck it up on the shipping charges and the extra few days it takes to get to you. I do not have any experience with his transformers, but I have used his chassis' before and they are nicely made.
In addition, his Ceriatone branded electrolytic caps are really really well made. They take 105 degrees C versus the 85 C that the old Sprague blue caps are rated. Slightly smaller as well and that always helps. I like dealing with Nik, but only if I'm not in a big hurry.

Looks like Ceriatone has some really good kits at extreemly resonable prices. Scott would you say that they have better overall quality than Weber's kits?

Hmm... I have never bought one of Nik's kits. There only real issues with Weber kits are the pots and switches. Both of those items need to be replaced before you try to begin one. I'm sure Nik is using Chinese transformers as well. Might even be from the same place.

The Weber OT's are pretty good---got a 40 watt universal in a '68 Pro Reverb and it sounds better than the original.
Bruce C. is pretty active with the Weber kits---the Proluxe and a few other models had a lot of his input. Not crazy about the Mission kit...same Chinese parts, wrong PT for a tweed Deluxe.

http://www.trinityamps.com/ These guys offer some nice 18 watt kits plus a couple of others if you are interested. The sIII sounds like a real killer amp and I know they do sell kits for it though their site doesn't list it per se. Good backup and top notch parts from all accounts.
