Weber High Power Dump

Theres been a bit of talk recently about the weber mass and ive been interested in getting some kind of attenuator for quite some time. I was orginally going to go with a Hotplate but with webers attenuators being a fair bit cheaper and having selectable impendances i think that weber is the route im gonna go.

I was wondering if any one has tried the High Power Dump made by weber? Its an attenuator that uses lots of resistors to attenuate the sound like the Hotplate does rather than the speaker motor that the mass models use and im thinking im gonna go with either that or the standard mass i just wanted to get some opinions on both before i completely make up my mind. Thanks in advance for any help.

What is the wattage of the amp you want to attenuate? I say get the speaker motor model because they sound more natural than a resistor in the signal path.
