Webers or Tubbys??!

I've been speaker hunting for my AC30 Head. I think i have now narrowed it down to two alnico choices.

1. 2x Red Hempcone Tone Tubbys

2. 2x Weber 30w Bluedogs


I have no way of testing the webers in my country, so please feel free to elaborate on these speakers. Which one would you chose? And why?

Get one of each. They'd probably sound great together. I've played through the Tone Tubby's in Crate's V-Series amps. Those things can throw some sound waves. Very open sounding, very clear. It made the V3112 sound like a Marshall half-stack. Webers are really good speakers too but I don't have first-hand experience with those specifically.

I thought about pairing before, but i think i'm gonna go with a set instead. I'm already running a stereo setup with two 2x12 cabs, currently V30's in both. But the vox isn't really happy with those, and i'm sure i would KILL with alnico's! :smokin:

Thinkin' about changing the second cabs speakers aswell, maybe Celestion G12H30, or for the green tubbys. But i'm not sure about that yet. The framus really sounds awesome with them!
