My "guitar fund" money that is....on this.

Was not really looking for a 100w, but I could not pass on the price.

Gotta love the fat classic tone of that monster! It's a simple amp, but there's a lot you can do with it to shape the sound.

A Weber Mass attenuator will allow you to get the goods out of it and a more reasonable volume. Also, a good OD pedal will give you an extra channel or two. If you want some mild reverb with it, plug into input 1A, send 1B into a Holy Grail Reverb or L6 Verbzilla, out to 2A. Then you can control the reverb mix with the 2nd channel's volume and the pedal itself. It also serves to fatten up the sound, since Ch2 is bassier.

Re-issue, 2000 model, but the previous owner was nice enough to drop in a Mercury Magnetics transformer. :naughty:
how much those cost these days? That's a nice little "sugah' on top mod" Now you've got to push this thing with a TS808 with a maple body charvel strat with a DD in the bridge and do a Mr.Scary or Unchain the Nigh for us in tips and clips.

Oh my-GAWD!!! Very very very nice. You didn't "blow" that money. It was wisely spent on a toneful machine. ;)

Re: Well I blew it all...

wish i had one of these myself.... they are said to be extra sweet for stock strats...

Re: Well I blew it all...

I would say that you'd have blown it if you hadn't got it bud! Nice one.

Sometimes a man has to do what a man has to do. I think you made a wise choice since you got a good deal.
