I had been looking for a 50 watt plexi re-issue (1987x), but I always seemed to be too late on the used deals, and I did not want to buy new.

Soooooo....cruising around the bay, I saw the 1959SLP with the MM transformer, and was able to snag it for less that I was prepared to pay for a 50 watter.

I still have a smile on my face and the **** thing is not even here yet.

Well the beast showed up this morning and looks even better than the pics. I doubt this thing has ever taken out of the house. I won't get a chance to fire it up for a couple of days (no cabinet), but will by the weekend.
