...after almost 2 years of ownership with the same stock strings daddario 10's. The new set is also daddario 10's. Well, before the flame war begins , ok, i know it was stupid to leave the old strings too long, i just felt the need to share my experience with this. I am not young or noob at all, but this guitar is the only LP-ish i own, relatively new, and i am generally hesitant with this. So here are the observations :
- i just thought this guitar plays rather good. Ok, this guitar plays now extremely good
- I was having tuning problems, G string and the like. After removing the old strings and applying some of this
- The tension is much lighter than it used to be. With the same gauge strings. Plays like butter now.
That's all folks, so moral of the story : if you feel the GAS possessing you, even if you just feel bad, you can always remedy the situation with some new strings to your existing gear! HAHA
Ok, wearing helmet, back to my shelter
