I love blue guitars but I also LOVE purple ones.
Naturally I love the color Midnight Blue.

The Iceman is one of my favorite shapes, and the purple flame/quilt is one of my favorite finishes. It makes me want to make a purple quilt King V! I can't wait to see it when it's done.

Also I'd recommend ordering your necks from Soulmate Guitars. They make custom necks to spec, and they are cheaper than Warmoth. Here's a link:

I went ahead and stained it blue. I thought of you when I was doing it....lol

Thanks. I use the TransTint dyes. I bought the bodies off of Ebay.

I got the blue one sanded back down.

I re-dyed it a little lighter blue than the first time.

It's amazing how different the guitars look when they're outside in the sun. However, they'll look more like they do inside of the house when I'm finished with them.
