Well THAT'S Annoying!

I waited several weeks for a pair of Benedetto A6 shop for customs, with nickel covers, and it looks like they slapped A6 labels on PAF's! It's also interesting that the labels on both of them say A6 bridge, when a bridge pickup isn't even an option for the A6's...curioser and curioser. Guess I'm making a phone call tomorrow...

The problem is that someone at SD slapped A6 stickers on PAF's, and hoped I wouldn't notice. I was working with my local shop that I ordered these through, and interestingly enough, on Duncan's own invoice they have the PAF part number listed for the A6 pickups...cue confusion...

To be fair, I have the utmost respect for Seymour Duncan, and have been using their products for many years. I know this just a fluke...

Wow, did they confirm that?

I have a S6 and can confirm the should have a higher reading. Yours seem to be Benedetto P.A.F. and not as you ordered a Benedetto A6.
A6 / B6 employ also a thinner wire like my S6 and should have a DCR like 11.6 to 12 k. I also think they were misslabeled at the factory.

Hi Mincer, that hasn't been confirmed/acknowledged as of yet, my local shop, Moze Guitars, just sent in a detailed email yesterday, with all of this info. I'm sure it's just an odd glitch, since I'm assuming that Duncan doesn't sell a ton of the Benedetto pups, based on the fact that the support tech I talked to on the phone, knew very little about them, I had to walk him through the website, to find the DCR info on the 2 different pickups in question...

I think if you contact the company directly, they would make it right for you.

AAAARRRGGHHGHHHH! To add insult to injury, after waiting 3 MONTHS to get my shop floor custom silver Benedetto A6's, they were packaged with the wrong sized height adjustment screws!! Now I have to dick with THAT on my brand new pups... SD is currently on my shit list! Sorry, I'm just really frustrated... I'll be over it after dinner....

I am sorry this happened. Have you talked to them about it and gave them a chance to make it right?

As I said, I calmed down after dinner, and I had the correct screws in my drawer of stuff 'n' things, just venting is all. And Ehdwuld, I've waited this long to get the pups I wanted, I'm not sending them back for a few screws... I've got them halfway wired up already! By tomorrow night it'll by like NGD for me...

Sounded like you were going to retap the holes for larger screws

Just being cautious

Thank you
It's good to know at least someone is reading my posts
