Oh man, that thing is gorgeous! The simplistic beauty of plain black with a nice binding!

How about pics of the rest of your gear, too? haha...

Re: Well, the Jackson USA SL2H is In...

How does it play, dude?
I've played several Jacksons; and all of them felt and sounded like ****, IMO.

I think it's something to do with the action.
I'm used to high action-I have high action on both my SGs-, but the Jacksons just have nasty action.

I thought it was just one, but then I tried some more and they all felt the same.
I don't know why so many people use them.
Maybe the American ones sound and play different. Maybe it's just me.

anyone else had this problem?

Anyway, can you tell me how your new guitar plays?

Rock.

Jimmy the jackson usa series is way way better then any of the imports, and towards your remarks about the action, must jackson's do have lower action which can be changed. And of course there going to feel completly diffrent then a SG, do u also compare rickenbacker's to parker's.

I wasn't compraing them to SGs.
I feel pretty comfortable with most guitars, but Jacksons just feel....weird.
But it just might not be my thing.
I guess you can take the man out of the SG, but you can't take the SG out of the man. haha.

Rock on.

Jimmy, being a fan of Rhoads, I'd expect to at least give the USA Select series a shot. There is such a drastic improvement in overall construction, playability, sustain, and tone. One of the best players I've ever had the pleasure to play. Give it a fair shot and you'll be kicking yourself for not trying it earlier! ;)

Davey, it actually is just plain black. It really does shine though! I'll work on some more pics for ya! :)
