The Wylde OD is still very clear and nasty, just with more balls. There is no output buffer on it where as the SD-1 has an input and output buffer. It is perfect for slamming the front of Marshalls......and should be considering that is what he uses. It's a little darker sounding than the SD-1 too but the beatiful thing is, the Tone control works in a nice way.
:laugh2: I never liked how the Tone control worked on the SD-1 at all. It was either too much highs or too dull. Noon was pretty much where it had to stay for me.
