JCM800? Mids up, bass down. SM57 into the cone. Videos of the band recording show a combo, looks like a Randall or something.

I was thinking it was some kind of Marshall. But I don't know Marshalls well at all.

Lots of compression and a short doubling delay. Too perfect to be double tracked. Probably some auto tune in there too.

Amp doesnt matter. Production is the droid you are looking for.

Whatever amp rage against the machine plays.... Not enough gain in that tone for me to know anything..... But it sounds like that bands tone to me.

Bingo -thats exactly why I answered Single Coil into Marshall -as I should know better than most -I worked at the studio where that stuff was made in the 90s
