What amps do you guys currently own?

Hmmm, as much as I want another Magnatone Panoramic Stereo head the idea of two Blue Angel Heads in stereo is very appealing, with one piggybacking my Coffee Can loaded SRO15, and the other my Pulsonic Cone Fane loaded openback 2x12. It would cost a good bit less, and I could use the savings for a good Harmonic Tremolo pedal that would work with all my amps. I could run one with the 2x6V6's into the crazy loud super efficient SRO, and the other on the 4xEL84's into the way less efficient 2x12. There's like a 6 db+ difference in SPL rating between the SRO and the Fanes.

The Blue Angel is a fantastic amp. It is insanely loud for max 33 watts, and is a wonderful platform for pedals. The 1x12 combo I have weighs about 60lbs, so it doesn't come on gigs often these days.

Heads:
Laney Linebacker 100 (80s solid state head)
Laney Ironheart 60
Bogner Uberschall Twin Jet
Marshall Studio Classic

Cabs:
Marshall MX412
Bogner Uberkab
PRS MT112

No combos at the current moment.

I "temporarily" hold 4 heads while my amp recording setup is down. The plan is to reduce them to 2 or maybe even 1. Bogner Shiva, ENGL Blackmore, Mesa Dual Recto and my trusty old Marshall JMP 50 Watts. I don't see myself selling the Marshall, so it's probably down to one of the other three.

I also have a Fender Super Reverb.

Some random smallish bass amp.

Yamaha Fifty410 combo (SS)
Yamaha THR10 (x2)
Marshall VS15 combo (practice amp)
Bogner Alchemist head (tube)
Line 6 SpiderValve 112 combo (w/ Bogner tube amp)
Peavey Supreme Transtube head (I believe stolen. Haven't seen it in awhile.)
Peavey TKO 115 Bass amp (SS)
Peavey MP4 (Technically, a powered mixer, but works as a nice little 50 watt amp head)
Hughes & Kettner Edition Blue 60R 112 combo (SS)
Hughes & Kettner Edition Tube 20th Anniv. 112 combo (tube)
Hughes & Kettner Tubemeister 5 Head (tube)
Fender 212 combo (SS - buried in my storage somewhere. Maybe a Frontman.)
Epiphone Studio Acoustic 15C combo (sweet little practice amp)
Crate Blue Voodoo 60 tube head w/ matching 412 cab
No-name FET Transistar (sic) Amplifier head w/ matching 2x8 cab (Cute old MIJ SS amp. Think Montgomery Ward's)

I think that's it. The Alchemist, into the H&K Blue 60 speaker, (Celestion), is what I use the most.

Hold up! You have a solid state, Roland? When are you picking up the Gibson L5 and starting the Jazz trio?

LMAO! You know me too well!

If this amp had a 100w head I would buy it !

Sits in my living room where I write most of the stuff before going out on the garage and blasting it throughout the neighborhood.

Early 70s Pro Reverbs are some of the best sounding amps I've ever used.

How do you like the Stiletto? I've toyed with the idea of picking up Duece at times. What are your favorite things about its features and tones?

I'll PM you on that...so much to say.

Let me quickly summarize for anyone reading:

I was literally going to buy a Marshall 2555 until I played the Mesa on a whim - just because they happened to have a used one that day and I had heard of, but never heard one before.

I got the Mesa. two channels, 3 modes each, 50/100 watts, Sim/Tube Rectos, solo boost button. I never looked back.

I'd LIEK a 2555 (or 2525 these days). I don't need one anymore.
