Kits...the only kit 5E3 I'd bother with is a Mission...Bruce knows what he's doing!

There are several other 5E3 clones out there that sound quite good and with the right tubes and speaker can sound very much like a vintage example but they do not com in kit form.

I'm talking about Kendrick and Clark for example.

Not sure there is any majic involved, use a proper voltage tranny 330-350v and use a

NOS 5Y3.The rest is simple.Triode sells a great kit (all the best parts) for a good price.

Fact is its a simple circuit !

Mission Kit. When you're building your first kit, support is key. Bruce is patient and has seen it ALL. Helps me all the time figure out goofy crap. Plus, he's a pretty good drummer. Got to see his group a few weeks back. super nice guy to meet in person. For those of you that miss Lew, he's on Facebook and doing pretty well right now. just got married.
