I have an E-II with duncan design and it's direct mount.
Ahh, I see..it has those weird triangle direct mounts. Duncans would need a new baseplate, or a date with a Dremel.
Wait wait wait wait.........
I don't understand "weird triangle thing" ... Are you saying that duncans are not direct mount? I have an E-II with duncan design and it's direct mount.
OH, I get it, oh man, I hate being such a dumb-ass with this stuff.
Here are a couple of pics of my RG870RWZ with a PATB set. Sorry about the quality of the photos, but I've neither the gear or skills to do better...

This is part of why I can't understand why someone would object to the look of the patbs. Especially if they like the sound of them.PATB-set looks amazing IMO.
Never tried one but from the descriptions I'd think it awesome.
The only gripe I personally have with no-pole adjustment pups like these or rails/slugs-only, is when they're on lower-radius guitars (like under 12").
Those Ibbys are much flatter (17"ish) so it would do great in that I bet.
I have normal rails in both my prestige bridges (dime and x2n).
In those the strings all sound and feel about as even as possible with rails at about the 16"-17" radius area,,,,IMO.
