What Are You Looking Foward To Seeing For 2016 From NAMM?

Re: What Are You Looking Foward To Seeing For 2016 From NAMM?

Just Courtney Cox playing guitar again...

I can't wait to see what mini pedals are coming out this year. After the mini fuzz face a few years ago and the mini Tube Screamer and mini Crybaby last year, I'm hoping for a mini Big Muff, or a mini DS-1 this year. ;)

I would love to get my mitts on a couple of the new Martin dreads, but I need a new guitar like I need a case of ebola!

I'd like to see what sort of mid priced low ( 20 watts and below) power tube heads might be revealed.

James Hetfield has a new signature model coming out with ESP.

New pedals are always exciting.
If they could resolve the Gibson issue, I'd put my money down today for a true ESP Hetfield signature from the late 80's/early 90's.

Marshall has been blowing up social media with cryptic "game changer" type marketing. I am curious to see if its a lifestyle product or something actually worthwhile for guitar players...

That rocket red socal is badass

I'm looking forward to laying hands on a Strandberg at the show. The only one currently in CO is an 8-string and I'm strictly a 6-string kinda guy.

Other than that, I'll be interested to see what catches my eye this year. I have a list of booths to visit but I'm going into it with a "we'll see" attitude. Of course, I'm kinda jaded and don't have any particular ties to brands or products. I'll make sure to take pix of booth babes as part of my coverage. :naughty:

Strandbergs were one of my favorites from last year- but they are expensive! They are pretty weird to play at first, with the strange neck. I'd imagine that they would be easy to get used to though.

It'll probably be more of the same from them. I'm sure it'll look great, but I doubt it'll be anything absolutely staggering.

And it'll probably cost more than my tuition.

Let's hope it's the latter. If they could do a 2204 with an added gain stage and a good clean I'd buy that.

I'm interested in EBMM's new Cutlass guitar. Kind of the Strat thing but with an EBMM spin...

Shadow are making a line of acoustic guitars made in china but by fully automated bots. I want to see more info and pics on those. If they have them.

What B.C. Rich's lineup (which I've already seen from Facebook) will be fully realized. But, they're now owned by a new group (forget the name). I wanna see how they'll roll in 2016 and beyond. :)

Probably checkout Randall as well.

Nothing. This is the week we locals scour the LA/Orange County Craigslist for the avalanche of listings by people trying to raise money for new NAMM toys.

All the great gear people went crazy for at prior NAMM Shows will now be half off!!
