What delay pedal are you guys using?

Re: What delay pedal are you guys using?

ps... most of my pedals i've bought have been pawn shops and used stuff... those DOD's i grabbed for $40 Canadian each.... a working delay for $40 is amazing... oneday i'll have to grab a better delay then what i use but for now they do the job

Re: What delay pedal are you guys using?

At the moment, nothing. In a few weeks, an Ibanez DE7.

What I wish it was in a few weeks: a Fulltone Tube Tape Echo. We can all dream right?

Re: What delay pedal are you guys using?

I have an echoplex, DD-5, and red repeat.

I use the echoplex only when I play studio

Otherwise - Red Repeat.

That DD-5 is in the box somewhere.

Re: What delay pedal are you guys using?

I've got some old Ibanez box that was "used" when I bought it almost 20 years ago! It's called a "DDL" is green and has one of the 'half' or 3/4 size stomp switches.

Noisy as hell...

Has a kool 12-bit grunge to it too.

For years I've been telling myself that I gotta break down and buy a new one but the old one just keeps working!

Re: What delay pedal are you guys using?

Hey, FWIW the DD-20 is on sale at Music123.com for $179.99 if anybody's looking for one.

Re: What delay pedal are you guys using?

Here's another shoutout for the DD20! I bought one in May '05 and haven't even considered another delay pedal since then. The Mod delay sound is especially lush... love it!!

Re: What delay pedal are you guys using?

Sorry I missed the questions. With the DD-20, you can save different types of delay settings in the patches for performance-type of access. Also, if you are ok with sticking to the same type of delay but need to change the timing, there is a tap-tempo function. All of this can be accessed with the 2 pedals on the unit. There is also an external footswitch jack if you are interested in changing the functions of the pedals and making it a 3-switch unit.

Re: What delay pedal are you guys using?

I'm using a DD3 but it's generating weird noises in my effects loop, only noticable when you are playing leads.

Anyone know any way to fix that?
