I have no clue what to do with this, I have only worked with edge 3 lo pro. So how do I set this one up? Is it supposed to go lower? And if so how?!? I tried to loosen and tighten the springs and the Floyd ain't moving.

Please help I need to post NGD XD

Assuming it's in tune in that photo, tighten the springs.

I've had Floyds do that before. Loosen the strings some, tighten down the springs, then re-tune. You might have to repeat this process a few times to get it just right, but it works. For some reason the trem can rear it's head like that if the claw isn't where it needs to be before re-stringing with a different size or a different tuning.

It looks like someone has either put much heavier strings on it since its las setup, or it was setup as a downtuned guitar, and subsequently returned to standard tuning. As LPB suggested, the strings in the back need to be tightened up, and the strings loosened as you go - you may find you need to alternate back and forth between the two, until you find the right balance and the trem baseplate more or less parallel to the body.

If the claw is bottomed out, you need to loosen both the strings & springs and start over. 3 springs with the middle one running straight up the middle with the outside ones in the outer holes of the block and the next inward claw hooks should provide enough tension, unless you're doing something insane like running a 13 set in straight E.

With everything loosened up, just do like I suggested above, and take baby steps. Don't try to get up to tune right away.

-Bring the string tension up slowly until the bridge just starts to get a little too high (nowhere near it is in your pic).

-Then tighten the claw down until the bridge is level.

-Then check where the strings are with your tuner and tighten them a little more

-Then when the bridge comes up again, tighten the claw again

And so forth and so on, and on, and on, until everything is ballanced.

Baby steps.

Chris was right. I put one more screw and it is perfect. Its a little to far in for me but I don't have 5 springs only 4 so it will have to do and thanks everyone for input, NGD on its way!
