what do you guys reckon of an x2n/air norton s/AN combo

for a swamp ash bodied metal guitar, i heard the AN has good jazz like warm tones for the neck position and it cleans up well, but what about the Air Norton Single how would that sound in the middle, would it be a bit redundant in the middle as well as the neck?

what do you guys think, any better choices you can think of or would that balance/sound well togeter
