Pretty happy with my black Ibanez Roadcore though, same shape as that first guitar and is very easy to play and the humbuckers are balanced and purdy sounding

Re: What do you have G.A.S. for right now?

I really just need to get my projects completed, but aside from that I want this stuff:

5150 I
Boss RV-2
Jackson Death Kelly
BK Juggernaut pickups

I really just want to build again... After these exams I'm makin' some sawdust!
I'm thinking an archtop!

Re: What do you have G.A.S. for right now?

I am seriously thinking about getting rid of everything except my 72 Silverface Quad and my Excelsior and picking up one of these.

Re: What do you have G.A.S. for right now?

My GAS has been in remission for about six months, since I built my partscaster.

Lately I've been feeling as though it may be coming back. I'm thinking about asking my wife to order a body for my Christmas present from MJT finishes. Either a Tele, or perhaps another Strat that has been professionally relic'ed by them. I love building them, and hunting for just the right parts. Building them is fun, even though you lose money on them in the end.

I also have been seeing some pretty nice old tube amps coming up on Craigslist. So far I have resisted the urge to grab one. I love old tube amps. I guess one day this urge will get the best of me.

Squire Vintage Modified 70's Strat

I want this so bad, I'm considering getting rid of my Ibanez (check sig) to fund this thing.

Washburn Parallaxe series, this one in particular:

I read the musicradar review, and that one got me curious: http://www.musicradar.com/reviews/guitars/washburn-parallaxe-pxs20frtbb-587522

Then I saw the features list and my jaw dropped:

The street price will probably be between $800-$1200 and they're made in Indonesia. Its good to see that such high quality stuff is coming out of this country. I'd put it on par with the Ibanez premium stuff.

Needless to say I've got a pretty severe case of GAS.

I really really still want additional orange cabs

but, I would like a gibson sg century, greedy tho since I already have a gibson sg standard in black...

Re: What do you have G.A.S. for right now?

An another Squier' 51 and/or an Ibanez Roadcore would tame the disease. Also a Taylor acoustic is on the list. Nothing too fancy, I played one of their entry models = instant love.

+ SD Woody and a couple of SD 'buckers.

Re: What do you have G.A.S. for right now?

My main g.a.s. is to get a pair of decent humbuckers for my Hamer Scarab so I can light up dem LEDs and play some doom metal. I'd like one of these:
View attachment 46846 for my Godin to twang on. I imagine it'll take the hell out of a Boss HM2 or a D.A.M. clone, so my pointy ugly-ass Hamer won't feel left out.
yes you do
this is mine

Oh lord.

My only issue is the fact that none of the fixed bridge models have Duncans.
