What do you think of this bc rich?

Well . . .

Not my cup o tea to be honest !

EMGs + gawdy neck binding + floyd = just too stereo typical pointy shread stick for it's own good. (imho)

I am more of a MockingBird type of guy. Like so :

Re: what do you think of this bc rich?

I will rock this one, IF the EMGs get replaced with classy gold TV Jones :

Just through away that lil wiggle stick arm, and 'lock' the bridge.

Re: what do you think of this bc rich?

BC Rich make some great guitars. The higher end import stuff is always very nice. That Warlock is a nice guitar.

So is that Mockingbird.

Re: what do you think of this bc rich?

I think it is very unattractive. But they do make some very good guitars.

Re: what do you think of this bc rich?

I have a cheapo Warlock and its not very good, but the NJ series are better. I think Warlocks look AWESOME but without that horrible binding.

+1. If you're over 20, skip this one. It shouts out 'teenager' like little 4 cylinder cars that have huge aftermarket spoilers.

Nothing wrong with being a 34 year old teenager man... :D

If it floats your boat, go for the BC Rich! Not that I'd have something like that.

Im 44.. got the broken down bod of an 80 yr old and the heart of a 19 year old...
Ive been talking myself out of buying a warlock regularly for years.. haha But I still want one bad!!

Shred1980, DO it....

Re: what do you think of this bc rich?

38 and counting..lol..

Age has never made a difference to the guitars (and music) I like. I owned a MIK NJ Warlock for years. It was amazing! BC Rich's (maybe not the entry level ones) are awesome guitars, they play and sound fantastic. Not crazy about that binding on that one either but if you can live with it, it's a sweet guitar! Be prepared to deal with neck dive though. My Warlock was fairly well balanced, but the Ironbird I just bought is pretty neck heavy....not that it's something you don't get used to.

Re: what do you think of this bc rich?

I used to have a Jackson KV4.
Sold it because it was too much for my then beard-less and slightly chubby 19 years old self.

The buyer was around 40, had long curly hair and a Iron Maiden T-Shirt, and was a Jackson collector.
Went to his place, he had two KE1s (yeah, not KE2, but the Marty Friedman signature models), a RR1, a DK1, a Roswell Rhoads (man did I drool at that one) and many other Jacksons.
NOTHING but Jacksons. The Dinky was the less pointy axe around.
Nice house too. He wasn't collecting them on his trailer precisely.

We still talk from time to time. Terrific guy.
So I won't judge anyone for being an old **** (none of us here is) and loving pointy axes. :D

I'm 38 and 9 of my 12 guitars are pointy. Four are BC Rich.

Re: what do you think of this bc rich?
