What do you think of this LP?

I've been really wanted a Les Paul lately, and I don't see too many of those Wine Red ones.. I think that's a gorgeous color! What do you think about this one? it's an '02 Prem Plus standard.. So i'm guessing it's 50's neck.. The guy doesn't know. Asked him.. And are the pickups burstbuckers? Thanks for the help! Tell me what you think so I don't make a stupid decision!

That's my kinda les paul... Dunno much about the pick-ups but I just dig the color soo much... I'm a bit bored with flamed tops but this one is really nice!

Yeah... I'm really thinking about it seriously.. Is it 498/490 or Burstbuckers? I have no idea what they put on the 02 standards.. Anyway! I'd change the pickups to duncans anyway.. :) Anyone else have some input?

My guess on the pups is the Burstbuckers. Can't remember exactly when they came out though. Could be the 57' Classics also. I think it's been a few years since they changed from the 498/490 series.

I did buy it! :) I can't wait to get... 1,500 doesn't seem like a bad price a Prem Plus Standard! Hope it's as sweet as it looks!

you're better off, if you have your own webpage or a certain amount of storage you have access to with your server, to upload the pics to your server and then insert the URL to each pic address in your post using the "insert image" tab.

2002 comes with burstbucker pros. Before that they were 490R/498T, standards never came with 57's. But the serial number confuses me 00142 ?

shouldn't it say "standard" on it...on the headstock...?!

A beautiful LP, the Premium Pluses are gorgeous. Good luck with it I am sure you will love it!

I'm not sure if the Standard PP's have "Standard" on the truss cover. I really like the color, it's unique. Post up some more pics, and congrats. I think that's a great price for a Standard PP.

Haha! I saved up all summer to buy this for myself! On my birthday which is today! :) I can't wait to get it.. How safe is money order/cashier's checks on ebay? 1,500 is alot to throw away. Anything I can do to make it safer??
