This case my brother in law got from Cezar Diaz in approx 1988. Before that,Stevie Ray Vaughn left it with Cezar,didn't need it anymore. My brother in law was a TV/Radio guy that played guitar and was friends with Cezar. My brother in law recently passed away he will join Cezar and SRV.

My sister gave me the case as I am the only one that plays guitar in our family and may have a use for this case. I am not a collector and thought I would sell this or trade this case for something I could actually use! Plus I really don't want to "use" the case as it is very collectable now! I also have cases for my touring amps already.

The case is pretty beat and has a prety worn out sticker with SRV's address on it. It also has a couple of club advertising stickers on it. Stickers are old ,somewhat tearing off in places. The case is made for a Black Faced Vibroverb. Inside is in pretty good condition! Wheels are worn but work great! The case is very very usable. I think it looks COOL!

Anyway, I do have pictures of this case and I will provide a Certificate of Authencity to the buyer.

About me? I am not a BS'er. I am a professional in my mid 40's.. I have a good ebay record with 125+ positive transactions.

Might be worth some doe if he had some real proof it was Stevie's. I don't doubt him, but without some pics of Stevie with it, etc., it's just "the guys word" that makes it Stevies.

Too me it ain't worth st1t, cuz owning Stevie's empty roadcase doesn't give my the slightest boner.

Nothing too crazy. If it has some sort of documentation it'd be fun to make into a cool conversion piece for the music room but that is about it.

The value would depend on whether the purchaser is an SRV fanatic with a blackface Vibroverb or not.

Somehow I got a Coco Montoya roadcase for a head. I just use it to hold up some of my studio gear off the ground, but I guess there's a bit of mojo in it. He's a popular West Coast guitarist, who succeeded Clapton in Mahall's blues band, and is now a solo artist/blues guitar hero.
