I also put a passive high-pass filter on the output jack. A .022uf capacitor and 100k resistor cuts frequencies below 70hz which really works well to filter out boominess and muddiness in a hollow body guitar.
Yeah i got one , I like that it has an access plate on back for the electronics
I had my Asian builder make me a blue one with the switch in the lower position like a 335
I also have a Dean Shire that is surprisingly the heaviest guitar i got 9+ lbs
it looks like it's made like the 335 with shaped plywood top and back. Probably all maple
The Florentine and my copy are standard body blank carved out with a f-hole in the top sonics not really a semihollow. More like a weight relieved with F-hole
