I am evaluating if I should swap out the bridge on the Squire to a Wilkinson M Series line

I really like the pop in arm of the Wilkinson but the stud spacing is a unique
62 mm rather than the 52mm of the normal ones

I was thinking about the same thing for my "cheapest on Amazon" (the name escapes me atm but it was $60 shipped) Mangowood SSS strat. The bridge is like a cheese grater (grub screws ov death) but I decided against it cuz I have no idea if it'll fit. Besides I like it's tone. Don't want to mess that up

I used my new Music Man, which doesn't have any pics yet. I am waiting for a sunny day that isn't freezing outside for a proper NGD thread.

Wilkinson/Musuclily has a lot of options

I think the Glarry with the Basswood are the cheap - cheap ones

They are beautiful and light.

Like I said I really like the push in arm

No this one is Mangowood, which is extremely popular for making cheap furniture here. The wood has a natural yellowish tint to it..

This is the one It's a "Juarez" ...not terrible for $60 & actually looks pretty sweet . Obviously there were multiple issues with fret ends (all since sorted out) & the bridge has those killer grubs screws I mentioned, but otherwise a pretty decent playable guitar (y)

Oh my that looks nice

I haven't seen those over here

Nice carve on the back of the neck?

I cant help myself , I want the brass roller saddles and a push in arm

The Fesley has the push in arm and two point Wilkinson M Series and bent steel saddles

The Squire has a screw in arm with the big block stainless saddles

The IYV has a no name thread in arm and bent steel saddles

Yeah I bought it soley based on how nice it looked :D

That it's playable (after a bit of work) and sounds more than decent is a bonus.

The neck is C shaped & pretty slim, very shreddable ....actually feels kinda like my YJM Strat tbh.... :p

I remember buying a pretty decent import Strat bridge with bent steel saddles years ago from Guitar Fetish (are they still around?). Think it had a push in trem as well.

Swapped bridge saddles and have been doing other tweaks to this one. Haven't been playing it out enough because it needed saddles. Had String saver graphite saddle that had cracked at the adjustment screws before I got it from the previous owner somehow. Replaced them with a new set of metal string savers, then just did a full set up. Fantastic guitar that plays and sounds as good as it looks now that I can properly intonate it and set it up. Pickups are an Alnico II neck and Perpetual Burn Bridge.

What a beautiful quilt and colour on that guitar!

I heard bad things about Guyker as a brand just yesterday at the guitar store
Yeah i have heard Orpheo on here dis them pretty hard

I have got the Tom style roller bridges from them, tuners , the dussenburg trem knockoff their TP6 clone, pickups

Whole bunch of random parts with good results

If i have anything bad to say it would be inline with any other manufacturers quality issues

But yeah those are definitely not bent steel.

The guy at the store doesn't get a commission from your Guyker purchase
He want to steer you to the brand name item he stocks

They might be good AND bad, depending.

Many lower cost Chinese companies make money by pushing a lot of product. If you get product made when the factory is humming along, everything might be great. If you get stuff during a rush, you might find a lot of corners cut or parts that never should have been shipped due to quality issues that have been tossed in the bag to make the order.
