Yeah they have certainly gotten pricey, I’ve recent been looking for a blue Lukather model. Not sure they are worth the asking price tbh.

I know, right? I'm often on the lookout for an '86 530WP. Should've got one when people didn't care and they were like $200.

The Lukather has been a bit more always but not significantly (same with the Holdsworth, which is bonkers now). From what I can tell, the only significant custom features were the specified bridge pu and the ebony fretboard. I don't know if it has a specific neck shape or same as was on regular RSs. But there weren't that many made either, so there's also that.

I have a Ibanez Lukather and an extra neck for one that somebody sold separately for some reason.

The neck is perfectly regular shaped like the other Roadstars, except for the ebony fretboard and the inlays.

It was born with wooden knobs too which I just couldn't stand. Bridge Pickup and knobs are all I have changed on this one.

Since I installed the JB I didn't like from another guitar into this one as an experiment, I can hardly put it down, and the original neck pickup in this one is also to die for.

Playing this one as I’d been thinking about swapping the Brobucker bridge out for a WLH (it already has a WLH neck), I don’t really know why so decided to leave it. I recently fitted the Faber bridge as the original pretty much collapsed, it works well enough and the intonation is spot on. I would still like to try a ABM ABR1 but I may just leave well alone. It’s looking a bit beat up these days but been my go to for 20 years or more.

Today it is the Brian Moore C-55PM. It has a piezo and 13 pin output for synth work, too, but it is a very cool guitar. Maple top, mahogany body, and very light weight, with an Alnico II Pro and Custom Custom, with a 5 way switch. Brian Moore (as a company) was started by someone who worked with Ned Steinberger, and I was one of their artists. They aren't around anymore, however. Mine was originally a very deep blue, but in a few years, the dye faded to a milky purple. I might get it re-painted one day.

i think that looks great! a brobucker bridge and wlh neck is a great combo. i like the wlh bridge, but like the brobucker better. for me the winner of the wlh set is the neck, its fantastic!
