i see myself with a tele and a couple other custom guitars. I will have a high quality low gain amp probably a combo. i will also have a nice acoustic maybe a santa cruz.

Hmm..prolly not much diff than what I have now...

A Les Paul....maybe a Strat or Tele to complement it....and a tube amp of some sort...head and 1x12 or 2x12 (not a fan of open backs). Prolly something simple like a Soldano SLO or Marshall NMV with an attentuator.

Couple pedals like I have now.

maybe an ovation with a 30 watt warm acoustic amp :)

or maybe

Jackson RR with a 100watt mesa head and Marshall 12 x 4 cab

i can see myself with a nice standard S-S-S Strat with a nice red finish and white pickups (something like the SSL-1s or Surfers), white pickguard and a vintage trem... maple neck... non-locking tuners (cause I'll then have the time to tune the strings again and again) of course through a nice tube amp... sitting in my comfy chair...
Ah yes... of course the amp will be more like a nice 20W thing rather than a 100 W beast ;) And old man's Guitar through an old man's amp.

My guitar tastes haven't changed significantly since my teens - I've always liked 4 basic models: Les Paul, SG, Strat, Tele.

But I could see a 335 in my hands if the Les Pauls get too heavy.

Or a Flying V. :D

As for amps, whatever the nurse can carry.
