What harmony pedal is best?

So I guess I'm thinking about getting a harmony pedal for solos... and right now I'm looking at either a Boss PS-6 or a Digitech Whammy. Do you guys have an opinion as to which one does harmonies better?

The way I understand it, the Boss can do Major or Minor harmonies, while the Digitech Whammy can only do perfect intervals. Is that correct?

Is there a different/better harmony pedal you would consider?

For the best tracking, can't beat the POG2 but it only does octaves.

Not sure about harmonizers, but for the money they charge you would hope the eventide pitchfactor is the best.

I'm not a fan of the Digitech Whammy at all. Sounds..... hmm.....brittle, cheap, not real.

Heard good things about the PS-6, but haven't actually tried it nor any of the others. If they aren't substantially better than the Whammy, I wouldn't waste my money.

You're just a Boss kinda guy with some EHx thrown in for spice.

It's funny....
you were a KatyPerryologist before I even heard her name.

Don't bother with the Whammy unless you're the kind of guy who's going to sit and go through everything it does, I like the whammy because of it's versatility but if you just want that "one sound" you probably have much better options...

When I got my whammy it was just me, the pedal, and a bottle of jager; I explored everything that pedal could do that night.......I was underwhelmed by it initially.....

I am intrigued because I am after something that can do a fifth up, an octave up and an octave down at once (I got this effect in guitar rig with 3 whammys)
