Pretty much every piece of gear that I currently own. I know what all I like and with everything I own now,I wasn't looking or intending to purchase guitars or amps at the time. They either popped up for a sweet deal and I said what the hell, or I saw it (like my Marshall Silver DSL which I bought brand new) and just had to have it.

Note really any guitar except maybe my J&D Les Paul Custom, wasn't really looking for a guitar and saw it in a pawnbrokers then came back and bought it the next day. Heaps of audio gear and pedals are just from eBay hunting if that counts as impulse just find a deal on something I may find useful and bid on it.

A lot of things, and the impulse buys usually end up being the lifetime keepers.

Here's my recent impulse. The entire Bogner pedal line. The opportunity arose, and I sprung.

No regrets.

Ditto. Two of my most noteworthy was probably my Peavey Windsor head and Bogner Alchemist head.

This one, as it was cheap. Turned out to be a good player.

Man, it would be cool if you get the reflection to become the actual finish. When I first saw that photo, I thought you had some sort of exotic walnut. Then I realized it was just the deck reflection.

Life is too short to go back to the store later.

I don't go back to the store. But I do return to Sweetwater's photos of 2013 white Gibson SG's. Again and again and again.

So far, I've resisted the impulse.

I gotta stay off the Internet. :crying:

A couple weeks ago, I stopped by a store, thinking about buying an old Peavey Special 130 I had seen there. Came home with this instead:




A few month back, this showed up at my local store. It was so cute and cheap, I had to have it:



It's a Slammer Series, the first and arguably best of the Hamer import lines. It's a good player, couple nice chunks of wood in it. Definitely a player; it has a few dings. I shopped around the Trading Post here, and a Zebra C5/59 Hybrid and some creme mounting rings. Those and 59N I have around should make it more Hamerish, if I can only find the time to clean of the workbench and swap the pickups.

An interesting idea that would be really hard to pull off! Yeah, the distorted decking does look like wood grain. Special Ashurbanipal illusionistic photography .

I did a few photos on that day and they all turned out pretty good as it was partially overcast. Moreover, black can be hard to photograph well.

I bought an Ibanez Archtop. Artcore AK86. For 300$ + tax, used. But it's in new condition.
I think it's an amazing guitar for $300... Best value for money i've ever owned.
