It's a good thing I waited to pull the trigger on the Windsor. I played a Hughes and Kettner TubeMeister TM18H 18W that fits the bill pretty well. It's does sound slightly too hi-fi on the dirty channel, but it does cleans fairly well and it gives me the ability to take it down to 5 or 1 watts. And it glows blue to boot!

Will respond back when I've either made the purchase or changed my mind.

If you get a chance, try the Tubemeister Deluxe 20 it's a bit less "stiff" in a good way

Also, the built-in Red Box cabinet emulation on the 20 is much more full-featured.
