That's intentional. Every time I tell a sarcastic joke on here, people don't get it and try to take it seriously. I had to resort to brute force to get the jokes across.

Oh, whoops, all this focus on polarity might have gotten me confused also. Looking at it again - if you hook yellow to hot and black to ground, then the switch as you have it would work to do parallel when up. I think the discussion of yellow being negative got me turned around. Sorry about that. Try what you have first. You'll know right away - it will either go parallel when pulled up, or shut off all sound.

Will do. First I have to wait for a new bridge pick up to arrive. When testing with the multimeter, It was obvious that the south coil was damaged. My fault. I did some modifications to get a pick up cover to fit. Apparently I trimmed down a bit too far and hit a coil wire. No biggie only $20. I wouldn’t be doing that with Seymour Duncan’s. At least now I get a chance to take that pick up apart and see exactly how it’s wired.

Quick update - vendor (Musiclily) responded by Facebook acknowledging their error saying to switch the red and white wires (see diagram below they posted). That matches what I found, but polarity doesn't match. I requested that they update with start/finish wires - waiting to hear back.
