Haha thx. I'm better at keys. The full story is bass was my 1st instrument and I got burned out on that because I couldn't play music on it. Then took up keys and put in a lot of work but got burned out on that cuz I couldn't play rock on it. Took up guitar and became proficient but plateaud. Now going back to keys because I'm better at it and it's fun again. Guitar/bass and piano/organ are gonna be my instruments from here. Drums and vox ain't happenin lol.

About the highschool chicks. I see them in the store with their parents and think I should try to step to them and get approval from the parents at the same time haha. But I know it's a lost cause tho and they'd just throw me in a trash can instead lol.

What ya mean couldn't play rock on keys? Learn South Of Heaven on them! I can't play it in smooth relaxed manner like an actual keys/piano guy, but it's fun to try.

Nice playing/writing btw. You are as good as my aunt Helga and she's been playing for like 50+ yrs,,,,,,,,,she is much harrier than you though.

That's sweet Clint. Why have you been working at walmart when you have piano skills like that?
I've been to many upscale restaurants in NYC and North Jersey where you could get a job in a heartbeat doing lunch or dinner shows.

^ Thanks. I guess I could get back after trying to get jobs. I tried back in the day but wasn't happy with my playing at that time. My main hangup was that I wasn't able to play rhythmically enough, either with the groove or with adding fast rhythms for excitement. I think I've reached that point tho woohoo. Studying guitar the past 5 years may have helped because you can just choose to play fast rhythms with your right hand and then practice hitting the right notes with your left hand. Before the complexity of thinking what notes to hit would prevent me from being able to play rhythmically.

Thx and ha ha! The tune is actually a jazz standard. Yeah I know there's keys in rock but imo you can't really rock out on keys and make it sound like rock. I think rock is all about guitar.

Well with organ and other sounds it does sound rock. What I meant is with piano you can't ever really get it to come across as rock on its own, only in the context of the band.
