What is your best looking guitar?

I've always payed more attention to the aesthetic of a guitar than I should, mostly figuring that if it looks cool and sounds decent, I can probably mod it to sound better. So far my best looking is a modified ice blue MIM Stratocaster with a 8-hole single-ply pickguard and covered humbuckers. If you have anything that looks really cool, please post pictures.

Probably this one:

2001 LP Standard Plus, loaded with a '59 and '59/Custom Hybrid. One of these years I'll finish that Jimmy Page wiring harness and return it to playable condition again.

Gorgeous guitar, but get that wiring done! I just busted out my Les Paul today with a Custom (b)/59(n) combo and JP wiring, the range of tones is simply amazing.

Re: What is your best looking guitar?

That is hard to say. I would say my Silver Iceman. A couple years after I posted this on Jemsite Ibanez started putting this finish in production. Bastards!

1983 Kramer Pacer Imperial - Heavy two piece Maple Body with finish checking front and back, a beautiful and comfortable Maple Neck with spotless frets and SD '59/JBJ.

Though this one is right there with it...

Yeah, I was sure that there were going to be a lot of Les Paul posts. When I first started playing I got a Pelham Blue Les Paul and recently gave it two toned knobs (to match the Bonamassa ones) and took off the bridge pickup cover. That thing was a pretty close second in terms of appearance.

Re: What is your best looking guitar?

Hard call.. Kinda like which of your children do you like better...
I think my black explorer with mirror pickguard is cool looking:

Also, put alot of thought into upgrading my Charvel:

a better view of the mirror p/g:

keys: (white pearl)

Then, I seem to get the most positive feedback on this Charvel:

Re: What is your best looking guitar?

Wow, good question. I have a thing for simple looking guitars these days. I like plaintop LP's for example, but I don't like solid color LP's (except for jr.'s and specials ... flattops). With Strats, I do like solid colors. Not much of a Strat player but always liked the Arctic white strats with the rosewood boards. I like the body style of my Dean Hardtails but, overall, I like the look of single cuts better. I like the see thru black finish and the overall look of my single cut semi (Godin). But, I'm going to say my current favorite in terms of looks is probably my Tokai LP Jr. (see thru white). Or, my older style Godin Progression "strat" (white w/rosewood board) with the direct mount pups. Neither one got oohs + ahhh's when I posted photos so I guess I'm off on my own island. Of course, my opinion could change tomorrow.

Oh yeah, and I also like vanilla ice cream.

Tough call... I'm a sucker for a pretty face too, so most of mine are pretty good-looking in their own ways.

This one, though, is the one that seems to get the most attention from others:

Re: What is your best looking guitar?

It used to be my Ibanez JEM, but I don't own that one anymore, so it does not qualify.
From my actual collection I am going with my Jackson DK2 Hot Rod Flames (mine has a red single coil at the neck spot to complete the look though):

I know, I know, many people will find it a "cliche" looking guitar, but I sincerely like the way it looks!! :dunno:

Re: What is your best looking guitar?

I have several great looking guitars, but I think my Godin Artisan ST Signature takes the cake out of my collection. That is the one on the right, next to my other Godin guitars...

I also think my Jackson Stars SL-TN01 is quite a looker (it is the one in the middle)

It's a limited edition Ibanez RG870RWZ, fitted with a SD PATB set, and modded with a push-pull pot for series/parallel switch on the neck pickup.

EDIT: I thought the picture looked killer in my cellphone. It looks like a bag of ass compared to your photos!
Damn camera.

Hard to decide. I think that they all look about equally good.
