What is your next amp going to be?

Sorta in the market–currently have a Yamaha THR100HD and Fender Bassbreaker 007 Combo (Eminence C-Rex.) I got the 100HD for gigging and really like the tones I got out it while gigging. I'm focusing on my MBA and Work so I've backed off of gigging and the Yamaha has not been turned on in months so I'm thinking about selling it. The Bassbreaker is perfect for my home so I really don't need a new amp...but I've been thinking about the Fender Twin Custom 15" for more of the "steel guitar" tone.

Did you get this already, and I didnt make the connection?

Took me a while to find the right model in the right condition but it is finally on its way. Still do not want to Iceman.

The thing that sucks is I have rehearsal on Thursday at 6. I usually leave at 5. With my luck it will get here when I am getting ready to head out the door or even worse it will be late making me late for practice. I would love it if it showed up around noon giving me time to play around with it a bit before I leave.

I have thought of building a stereo rig with two identical modeling amps equipped with series effects loops. What could you not do with that, given your choice of pedals and crap?

Well, aside from having to change settings on both amps at the same time if using the same model, that could be interesting. Or have a mix of 2 different amp voicings and such.

Same amp settings, maybe. Different amp setting, definitely. Using them as the amp and speakers for a stereo preamp/effects/giant-pedal/rack-rig, absolutely.

If I were to do it, like the Bandit thing, I'd set both for a great clean tone and get my dirt from pedals out front. Use a stereo reverb/chorus/delay to the amps. Done. The cool part is I'm half way there with my big board. The D&M Humboldt Simplifier can be ran in stereo. All I need are two powered monitors. Down the line I may pick up a couple Headrush 8" powered floor monitors.

Marshall 2525 head and a 2x12 stackable cabinet.

2555 was my target sights (as in headed to the store to get it) when I accidentally saw my Mesa Stiletto.

Yeah, the only amp I'd really like to try - as a bedroom player - would be the mini Silver Jubilee. But the colour doesn't go with my room so I'm quite happy with the DSL20 head. :D

an acoustic amplifier :/ my loudbox mini is too small, though i like it a lot, and my old loudbox 100 is making noises when it gets hot

I'm not saying "fer sure", but I think I have all my bases covered with my extensive t00b, analog and VST amp stable.
