What model SD pups do I have ? Pics inside

Hey all..

I want to sell these pups on 3bay but I cant seem to figure out what model they are and if they are bridge or neck models..

I have been a strict Dimarzio player for years, and these came in a guitar I recently bought, so I am swapping them out..

Both have model numbers on the back but seem to have an extra J on the end of each of them... Anyone know what this means ? and how much do used SD's go for..

any help would be great

59 neck model and a Duncan Distortion bridge model.

The J stands for the initial of the last name of the person that wound the pickup.

There used to be a document on the SD site somewhere that I can't seem to dig up at this time that explained the bassplate labels.
I'm sure someone will post a link to it, but until then I would say the "J" stands for Jolly!

I'm pretty sure the J means it was wound by MJ, or at least that's what I heard it meant in regards to my Pearly Gates. The J doesn't make it worth anymore money, but some people on the forums believe it imbues a certain mojo.

I don't know why people always say that. It was wound by a person with the last name beginning with J. I guess people think there is only one person that works at Seymour Duncan with the last name J. Hell, there's only six of us where I work and three of them have a last name beginning with M. Plus, I'd imagine that MJ is way to busy in the custom shop to be out on the production floor working.

Plus, I'd imagine that MJ is way to busy in the custom shop to be out on the production floor working.

I guess there was a time in the 80ies/90ies when Mrs Juarez worked on the production floor and SD had a one man job in Custom Shop. Just a guess.
