What pedal does Phase 45 AND Phase 90 tones????

Re: What pedal does Phase 45 AND Phase 90 tones????

I'd settle for a phase 45 with true bypass and an LED...

^Not as far as I can tell, Mad-Max.

Ace, I know this isn't exactly the answer you're looking for, but I just picked up a brand new reissue DOD 201 off ebay for $85 free shipping. The 201 is apparently a copy of the phase 45 circuit, and this reissue has an LED, true bypass switch and a power supply jack.

I've got a "vintage" block logo 45 that I love the sound of, but I don't like that it doesn't have the power supply jack, so I'm selling it in favor of the 201.

Anyway, if you have the 90 already, the 201 might be a good pedal to add, rather than chasing down a boutique pedal that may not exist, or is spendy.

Oh well, just thought I'd throw it out there. Seems like the ultimate phaser pedal to me. It can practically do any type of phase effect, from what I can tell.

BYOC sells a kit clone of the Phase 90 with an added Depth pot. Or, at least they used to; they tend to bloat their pedals over time with all sorts of extra features.

The thing I don't know is, how different a 90 sounds with the Depth turned down, from a true 45.

I've been thinking about modded my Script RI 90 with a depth pot or mini-toggle. Definitely need to peruse those schematics above first.

By the time you drop the coo on some boutique phaser that does a decent interpretation of both a Phase 45 and a Phase 90 you could have simply bought both a Phase 45 and a Phase 90.
