Mark uses Jackson Swee-Tone's loaded with Invader's and Dimebuckers, Willie uses Framus guitar's loaded with the stock JB, both through a Mark IV head. On Ashes Of The Awake, They ran through three amps. 80% Mark IV, 10% Marshal JTM45, 10% Sansamp.

Nope. I'm almost positive they're 100% Duncan users. I think Willie's guitars with single coil slots have Hot Rails. FYI, guitarwise, they use Framus & Jackson, both of which stock lots of their high-end stuff with Duncans.

on ashes of the wake(my favorite metal disc ever!) the left channel has the better tone? which guitarist is on that channel ? mark or wille?
it sounds fuller and ballsier than the left side tone

LoG is a great band and Ashes is probably musically and tonally their best album to date. They are maily Duncan/Mesa users, but yeah I've read they mainly use Invaders and JBs. Mesa's live they use Mark IVs and to record Ashes they use the combos someone stated above.

yeah their best and my favorite metal album of the last few years!
all the above about their gear is correct and luckily for me i already had the MK-IV amp :laugh2:
I found that i can get the ashes tone with the duncan distortion with ease.
it is more a matter of how i set the 5 band EQ on the mesa :32:
