i got these @ a pawn shop on a telecaster with kahler bride people say thy're aII pro's but thos have four conductors so im wunderin did they make ai pros?

Well... the baseplate says SD, but being double creme I think they're made from leftovers from others p'ups...

SD used to make production pickups in double cream, and advertised it in the early 80's. Most pickups were using the single conductor braided wire during this time as well.

Did I miss a shot of the stickers?

The taping doesn't look SDish either, I support the theory that these are replacement coils.

ok well i cant get it not to glare but the stickers are waxed on and have blue letters the one without a coil says: "aphinj" the other says:"aphibj"

Only the more recent pickups are 4-conductor, older pickups were 1 lead plus shield, later they became 3-lead plus shield and finally 4-conductor.

It is very possible these are a quite old APII set (neck and bridge)
