!!!!!what Pups Do U Use In Ur Fat Or Double Strat For Metal!!!!!!!

Re: !!!!!what Pups Do U Use In Ur Fat Or Double Strat For Metal!!!!!!!

The JB usually calls the bridge slot home in most metal strat axes. The Custom Custom also does a good job, With Full Distortion uses it. The Custom has a tighter low end than the CC and JB and lends itself to heavier styles.

A distortion/custom hybrid does a good job too.

For the neck most guys go for a Jazz, or 59. The jazz handles detuning best, the 59 has more bass.

Hope that helps!

I currently have Invader / 59n and am Definetly swapping my Invader for a TB-4 (JB)
I love the sound of the JB, so I know I'm gonna be happy with the new setup.

CC bridge / PG neck without a doubt, has served me well (and I've used the Invader, Custom, and 59 as well).

heres what you do: DONT USE A STRAT!

problem solved! nah just kidding, i only say that because i hate fender and usually when someone uses the word STRAT they are talking about fender strats (i know your talking about the kind with humbuckers and not single coils) although i know alot of people that call anything with the same shape body as a strat, well they call it a strat too

but anyways you wanna know a great pickup for metal then check what i just posted on withfulldistortion's post:
