Lace 6k Hot Gold in the bridge, Bill Lawrence L-280S in the middle, Kinman AVN-62 in the neck..the ultimate noiseless set. Vintage Strat tone, none of the hum. I'm sure a true vintage Strat purist would take issue with that statement, but I'm firmly convinced these three pickups do a better job nailing authentic single coil tone than any of the other noiseless pickups on the market. I'll be interested to see how the new Duncan noiseless model compares to this set. :cool3:

Strat 2:
Bridge: HS-3 with push/pull split
Middle: Squier ceramic pickup
Neck: HS-2 with push/pull split

Strat 3:
Bridge: '74 Strat single coil
Middle: Squier ceramic pickup RW/RP
Neck: '79 Strat single coil

Strat 4:
Bridge: Duncan Custom
Neck: Jazz Model Neck

Strat 1- Stock fenders.

Strat 2- Texas hot at the bridge, vintage flat middle and neck.

Fernandes strat - APS-1's with a Hendrix "reverse" bridge pu.
Fender Tex-Mex Strat - Calibrated set of SL5/2's.

I'm happy with both of them.

The pups in my main MIM Strat are stock. They just always sounded good. I've never felt the need to change them.

I use the stock Tex Mex pickups in my Jimmie Vaughan Strat. They're great, and they need no replacing.

bridge - hot rail
mid - stock
neck vintage rail

I rarely play the mid because it just isn't as clear as the other two - so I'm stuck with two out of five options.

I want to replace the mid stock with a cool rail.

I've got an SSL1 in the neck, stock middle, and a lil 59 in the bridge. The 59 is pretty frreakin' awesome, though I'm thinking of going to an SSL3 or SSL6 for a more traditional bridge tone and to get my notch position back...

How big of a difference do you guys think I'd hear in my neck/mid position if I switch the middle to an SSL1? This is one of my most used tones and I've often wondered if it would be better with like pickups instead of the one staggered one not configuration I've got going on now.
