What Pups For 90s Fernandes Strat?

Just picked up a 90s made in Japan Fernandes Strat. LE-2 is the vintage spec version so it has 7.23” radius neck and 6 point trem. Things look less than desirable under the hood with ceramic pickups, tiny pots, and plastic switch. Maybe a loaded guard would be the way to go? Also want to replace the wonky input Jack.

With that radius, staggered poles. For classic strat with some more muscle in the bridge you can't go wrong with an SSL1 1 5 loaded guard like this one:

It obviously depends on what music you play etc so with a bit more info we can tweak the recommendation.

Great. It's definitely a solid choice! But then other people like very different things, like high output pickups (Hot Rails) or more humbucker/PAF like the lil 59.

that ssl1/ssl5 setup is a great one for classic strat tones with a hotter bridge

Same things you'd stick in a Fender

Are you looking for vintage output true single coils, vintage mid and neck plus bridge bucker, noise cancellation low output, or hotter in all positions?

I'd go along with what's been said. SSL5 & SSL1's. I have
that combo in my Strat and it's recommended for a reason.
I also own a mid 80's Fernandes. They're quality guitars, but
like you found out, the electronics gotta go. Slap in some
quality pots, switch and jack, along with some Seymour's
and you're ready to roll. Good luck.
