what should the 10K go in?

Well, what do you guys think I should drop the 10k in? I've got it narrowed down between my Hamer Special FM paired with a Seth Lover in the neck. Or it will go in my home made korina V paired with a 59 in the neck. See this thread for details on the V:

Of course, I'll probably drop it in both and decide for myself. :laugh2: But if I get an overwhelming response for one guitar and I go with that one first, and the results are too good to pass up; then I might just leave it at that. :fingersx:

APH in zebra. I'm taking the cover off. Going for the old Hamer look using a zebra/cream set up.

Very cool. My Hamer Special has a zebra APH n the bridge with a covered Seth in the neck right now. It was a combination of convenience at the time. But it does sound sweet. I'm either going to cover the APH or throw the 10k in there. Haven't decided yet.

To sum up the Seth in one word, I would have to say "smooth." It is everything I expected it to be. The Seth is a wonderful vintage PAF pickup with great cleans and smooth when under gain. To compare it to an APH-1 and a 59, I would say it is more like the APH-1, only a bit grainier. If that makes any sense. The Seth really shines in the Hamer. I put it in there after playing an Artist Custom loaded with a pair of Seths. I think I prefer something just a touch hotter for the bridge, which is why I'm interested in the 10k. But in the neck, the Seth is pure sex. It just oozes creamy leads. The only thing is, I haven't used it under high volume, so I can't comment on the squealing due to being unpotted.
