What Single Coils for Fat Strat?

Hey Everyone!

I have a Califonia Fat Strat and have been bitten by the pickup bug! I recently installed an Air Zone in the bridge and am quite content with its versatility, clarity and balance in a Strat.

Now I an bored with the Dimarzio Virtual Vintage Solo's my luthier installed in the middle and neck positions! Why he installed the "solo" model in my neck & middle I am not sure. The VV solos are not articulate like the AZ, but make some nice Jazzy sounds. The problem is there is not much difference between my neck and middle pickups in terms of sound and not much tonal variety in general. Basically positions 1-3 sound about the same.

Anyone have suggestions for spicing things up! Switching one or both of the VV's would be an option. I will require higher output pups that will blend with the AZ. I play stuff like Alice in Chains, Built to Spill, Hendrix, so I'm all over the place but more modern I guess!

I'd opt for the Chopper in the neck and a Fast Track 1 in the mid.

Thanks Benji!
Looking at Dimarzio's site, they look like great suggestions as Fast Track & Chopper are SC's designed to work with w/ humbuckers in the bridge (jeez they've got ALL the bases covered these days). Any one else have an opinion?
